The Nigerian Navy has released the list of successful candidates for Batch 35 of the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School (NNBTS) recruitment interview. The recruitment process, which took place in Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Kaduna from August 12 to September 1, 2023, has identified individuals who are ready to embark on a journey towards serving their nation.
Training Location and Dates
Successful candidates are expected to report for training at the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School located in Onne, Rivers State, on Saturday, October 14, 2023. This marks the beginning of their rigorous training to become valuable members of the Nigerian Navy.

What Candidates Should Bring
Candidates should come prepared with the following items to ensure a smooth start to their training:
a. NIN Print-out Slip: This is a critical document for identification purposes.
b. Original and Photocopies of Credentials: Educational qualifications and other relevant certificates.
c. BVN Printout: Bank Verification Number printout to confirm their identity.
d. Navy Blue PT Shorts: Two pairs for physical training.
e. White Round Neck Vests: Two pairs, for physical training as well.
f. White Canvas: Two pairs for physical training.
g. Brown Canvas: Two pairs for physical training.
h. White Long Sleeve Shirts: Two pairs for dress requirements.
i. Black Trousers: Two pairs for dress requirements.
j. Black Ties: Two black ties to complete the dress code.
k. Black Shoes: A pair of black shoes for dress requirements.
l. White Long Socks: Three pairs for dress requirements.
m. National Dress (Native Wear): Two sets to represent their cultural heritage.
n. Cutleries: Two sets for personal use.
o. Navy Blue Bed Sheets and Blanket: Two sets for their accommodation.
p. White Bed Sheets: Two sets for their accommodation.
q. Mosquito Net: For a comfortable sleep.
r. Toiletries: Personal hygiene items.
s. WAEC or NECO Scratch Card: As applicable for educational verification.

Parent/Guardian Consent Form
In addition to these items, candidates are required to download the Parent/Guardian Consent Form from the official Nigerian Navy website at www.joinnigeriannavy.com. This form must be signed by their parents/guardians, stamped, and endorsed by a competent court of law. This form is to be brought along on the day of resumption for training.
Important Deadline
Candidates must adhere to the provided schedule. Failure to report by Wednesday, October 18, 2023 (five days after resumption) will result in the forfeiture of their NNBTS Batch 35 candidacy, and they will not be accepted for training.
