The News Agency of Nigeria reported that the pilgrimage was conducted under stringent security measures coordinated by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and Saudi authorities. Security personnel ensured the safe and orderly movement of vehicles and pedestrians by securing routes and implementing transportation plans.
The NAHCON and Saudi officials provided extensive services in the Arafat area, including medical, emergency, and food services, to support the needs of pilgrims from around the world fulfilling the fifth pillar of Islam.
Dr. Abdallah Gadonkaya addressed the Nigerian pilgrims, urging them to use the opportunity to seek divine forgiveness and solutions to their challenges. He also encouraged them to pray for peace and economic prosperity in parts of Nigeria facing security issues.
