The next stage of the recruitment process will involve a combination of physical and credentials screening, conducted in the applicants’ respective states of origin. Successful candidates can anticipate receiving their invitation letters before December 23, 2023. During this phase, candidates are required to present original copies of their certificates, along with other credentials and letters of attestation from their Local Government Chairmen or traditional rulers.

Subsequent stages will include Computer-Based Testing (CBT) and medical examinations, with specific dates set to be announced in due course. The Police Recruitment Board emphasizes the importance of maintaining a transparent and merit-based selection process, reiterating that the entire recruitment exercise is free of any charges.

Leading the regional count, Kaduna State boasts the highest number of successful applicants at 31,117, followed closely by Adamawa, Benue, Borno, Katsina, and Bauchi. Conversely, Anambra State has the fewest successful applicants nationwide, with 1,141, followed by Ebonyi, Lagos, and Abia.

The statement issued also serves as a caution to successful candidates, urging them to remain vigilant against fraudulent activities. It emphasizes that the entire recruitment process is free, merit-driven, and solely based on performance.

This development marks a crucial step in strengthening the Nigeria Police Force, with a diverse and substantial pool of candidates ready to contribute to the nation’s security. As the screening process unfolds on January 8, 2023, it represents a pivotal moment in shaping the future of law enforcement in Nigeria.
