This initiative, managed by the Federal Ministry of Education through the Federal Scholarship Board, is part of ongoing efforts to support students in the education sector. Overview of the Award
The Education Bursary Award is designed to ease the financial burden on full-time Education students and to encourage more young Nigerians to pursue careers in teaching and academia. It is a yearly scholarship open to eligible students nationwide.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the bursary, applicants must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen
- Be a full-time student in a recognized public College of Education or University in Nigeria
- Be studying an Education-related course
- Be in their second year or above
