The National Population Commission (NPC) in Nigeria has announced the rescheduling of the 2023 Population and Housing Census time table. The commission also confirmed the dates for the training of enumerators and supervisors for the upcoming census.

When is the NPC Refresher Training Date for DQM?

According to the new schedule released by the NPC, the Refresher Training for DQM (Data Quality Management) and specialized workforce at state level will hold from April 3rd to 6th, 2023. This training is designed to equip the DQM and specialized workforce with the necessary skills and knowledge needed to carry out their duties effectively.

When is the NPC Training Date for Enumerators and Supervisors?

The training for enumerators and supervisors is scheduled to take place from April 25th to 30th, 2023. This training is aimed at preparing the enumerators and supervisors for the task of gathering accurate and reliable data during the census.

When is the NPC Census Exercise Date?

The NPC has also fixed May 2nd, 2023 as the Census Night date. This is the day when the actual counting of people and housing units will take place. The fieldwork is expected to commence from May 3rd to May 6th, 2023.

The population census is an important exercise that is carried out every ten years in Nigeria. It provides vital information about the size, distribution, and characteristics of the population, which is crucial for planning and policy-making.
