The Commission has listed several categories of vacancies across different cadres. These include senior officers, trainee officers, technical staff, artisans, and support roles.

- Senior Officer (CONTISS 9) – For candidates with PhD, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degrees plus cognate experience.
- Officer I / Trainee Officer (CONTISS 8) – Requires a Master’s degree or first degree with experience.
- Officer II (CONTISS 7) – For degree holders in disciplines relevant to the Commission’s mandate.
- Confidential Secretary I (CONTISS 7) – Requires HND in Secretarial Studies with work experience.

- Drivers/Mechanics (CONTISS 3–4) – O’ Level certificate, trade test certificate, and a valid driver’s licence.

- NYSC discharge or exemption certificate (for applicable positions).
