The Business Development Officers (SME) will play a crucial role in OPay’s growth strategy. Their primary responsibility will be to onboard SME merchants onto OPay’s virtual account within their assigned locality. Additionally, they may be required to deploy point-of-sale (POS) systems and manage relationships with merchants effectively.
To succeed in this role, candidates are expected to have a Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any Management or Social Science discipline. Previous experience as a Direct Sales Agent or retail banking sales professional is highly desirable, preferably with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience. A strong track record of success, combined with flexibility, result-orientation, and exceptional selling and customer relationship skills, are essential qualities for the position.
