Oyo Prince Arrested for Killing US-Based Lecturer in Osun

In a tragic turn of events, an Oyo prince, Eniola Oyeyode, has been arrested by the Osun State Police Command in connection to the killing of a United States American-based lecturer, Dr. Richard Idowu. The incident occurred at Oyeyode’s residence in Ejigbo, Osun State, following the 50th Coronation Anniversary of the Ogiyan of Ejigbo, Oba Oyeyode Oyesosin.

On the evening of January 27, 2024, around 9:48 pm, Prince Eniola Oyeyode allegedly instructed one of his civilian guards, Hammed Abdul Jelili, to fire his double barrel gun into the air to check its condition after the coronation celebration.
