
Are you a passionate Nigerian undergraduate looking to create real change? The Future Pathways Development Initiative (FPDI) Policy Challenge 2025 is now open for applications. This competition offers an opportunity for young scholars to develop practical policy solutions aimed at fostering unity and social cohesion across Nigeria.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be currently enrolled (full-time or part-time) in a Nigerian tertiary institution during the 2024/2025 academic year.
- Must be at least 18 years old by August 2025.
- Teams must consist of 2–4 members from the same institution.
- All finalists must attend the Policy Conference in Abuja on August 12, 2025.
Prizes and Awards
- First Place: ₦2,000,000 and a 3-month paid internship
- Second Place: ₦1,000,000
- Third Place: ₦750,000
- Top 10 Finalists: Proposals will be published in the 2025 Policy Challenge Compendium
Proposal Submission Requirements
Each team must submit a policy proposal between 2,000 and 4,000 words (excluding references). The document should be submitted in PDF or DOCX format and must include:
- Abstract (250–350 words): A concise summary of the proposal.
- Policy Background: An overview of the context and significance of the issue.
- Problem Statement: A clear explanation of the need for reform in the chosen policy area.
- Two or More Policy Options: Presentation of viable and creative solutions.
- Recommended Action: Selection and justification of the most effective solution.
- Evidence and Data: Research-based support for all arguments.
- Bibliography: Properly cited sources.
