Abdullahi insisted that Wike’s views are merely personal and do not pose a threat to the party’s unity or existence. He reiterated that the PDP has survived more severe challenges in the past and that no individual, regardless of their position or influence, can destroy the party.
In a related development, the Osun State chapter of the PDP criticized Wike’s remarks as “reckless and irresponsible,” urging him to focus on his duties as a minister rather than making threats against fellow PDP governors who support Governor Fubara.
