Abuja, 1st Aug, 2023, The Labour Party (LP) Presidential candidate, Peter Obi, arrived at the presidential election petition tribunal in Abuja on Tuesday, accompanied by his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed, and renowned author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. The tribunal is set to consider the written addresses submitted by Obi, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Bola Tinubu’s petitions.
The case comes in the wake of the tribunal reserving judgment on the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Atiku Abubakar, who, like Obi, challenges the declaration of President Bola Tinubu as the winner of the election.
