The Nigerian Presidency has firmly dismissed rumors suggesting a rift between President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima, underscoring the solid partnership between the two leaders. In a statement released by Stanley Nkwocha, Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communications to Vice President Shettima, it was made clear that the Vice President remains a “colossal member” of the administration, enjoying the “total confidence and full support” of President Tinubu.
Nkwocha emphasized that claims of discord are baseless, characterizing them as “illogical conspiracy theories” that fail to reflect the reality within Aso Rock. He highlighted Shettima’s unwavering loyalty and his integral role in the administration, particularly as the Vice President celebrated his 58th birthday.
