Key items on the agenda in Accra include evaluating the AU’s early warning and conflict prevention mechanisms and fostering cooperation among regional economic communities to expedite integration efforts. The meeting will culminate in the adoption of a declaration themed ‘Educate and Skill Africa for the 21st Century.’
Ngelale added, “The President will highlight the achievements and challenges encountered in West Africa since the last meeting in Nairobi, Kenya, in July 2023.
