PSG, Man Utd, and Chelsea enter race to sign Nigerian star Victor Osimhen

Napoli Forward, Victor Osimhen

Paris Saint-Germain, one of the biggest football clubs in the world, has reportedly entered the race to sign Victor Osimhen. The Nigerian forward has been in sensational form for Napoli this season, scoring 19 goals in just 22 Serie A appearances.

Osimhen’s performances have not gone unnoticed, with several top European clubs reportedly interested in signing him. Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal are among the clubs that have been linked with the 24-year-old.

However, according to Italian transfer expert Nicolo Schira, PSG is also interested in signing Osimhen. The French club’s football director Luis Campos worked with Osimhen at Lille when they signed him from Belgian side Charleroi in 2019. The striker went on to score 18 goals in one season with Lille before moving to Napoli for an initial fee of around £62million.

Napoli is on the verge of winning the Serie A title this season, with Osimhen’s goals playing a crucial role in their success. However, the club stands to make a significant profit if they decide to sell the Nigerian, with reports suggesting that they value him at £107m.

It remains to be seen which club will ultimately sign Osimhen, but there is no denying that he is one of the most exciting young talents in world football at the moment. With his pace, power, and clinical finishing ability, he has the potential to become one of the best strikers in the world in the years to come.
