In a heartfelt gesture aimed at supporting his constituents during the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, Representative Yusuf Gagdi (APC/Plateau) has donated 400 rams and N20 million. The presentation took place on Friday in Dengi, located in the Kanam Local Government Area.
Gagdi, who serves the Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency, expressed that this initiative is part of his ongoing commitment to ensuring that the less privileged members of his community can celebrate festive periods with ease. Speaking to the News Agency of Nigeria, he emphasized the importance of such gestures, particularly during times of economic hardship.

“It has been my tradition to distribute rams, food items, and cash to my constituents during festive periods. This year’s celebration came at a time when prices of foodstuffs and animals have skyrocketed, hence the need for me to intervene. The 400 rams and N20 million will assist,” Gagdi stated.
The lawmaker also encouraged his constituents to use the festival as an opportunity to pray for peace in Plateau and across Nigeria. He reiterated his commitment to providing quality representation and support to the people in his constituency.
