In a recent revelation by Italian Transfer Markt expert Fabrizio Romano, it has been disclosed that several clubs in the Saudi Arabian Professional League are expressing strong interest in acquiring the services of Nigerian defender William Troost-Ekong. This heightened interest is attributed to Troost-Ekong’s exceptional performances during the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Romano highlighted the impact of Troost-Ekong’s leadership on PAOK, propelling them to the summit of the Greek Super League and Europe Conference League. Despite his contentment at PAOK, the lure from Saudi clubs for the upcoming summer transfer window is reportedly substantial.
