South-West Governors Convene in Lagos for Critical Discussion

Governors from the South-West geopolitical zone gathered at the Lagos House, Alausa, Ikeja, for a significant meeting hosted by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu I’m. As of 11:30 AM on Monday, three of the six governors had arrived, including Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun. The other expected attendees are Oyo State’s Seyi Makinde, Osun State’s Ademola Adeleke, Ondo State’s Luky Aiyedatiwa, and Ekiti’s Abiodun Oyebanji. The agenda, while not confirmed, likely includes discussions on the minimum wage debate with the Federal Government, regional security issues, and other pressing matters. Following the closed-door session, a press briefing is anticipated.
