Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Merit Scholarship, applicants must:

• Be an international student (non-Turkish citizen).
• Apply for an undergraduate program at Bilkent University.
• Achieve an annual GPA of 3.30 or above.
• Rank within the top 5% of non-scholarship students in their program.
• Have taken at least the minimum curriculum course load (excluding additional courses, withdrawn courses, GE 100-250-251, non-credit courses, and repeated courses in Spring already taken in Fall semester).

Scholarship Benefits

Depending on the student’s ranking within the top 5%, the scholarship covers tuition fees as follows:

• Top 1%: 100% tuition waiver
• Next 1%: 80% tuition waiver
• Next 1%: 60% tuition waiver
• Next 1%: 40% tuition waiver
• Next 1%: 20% tuition waiver​

These scholarships are awarded for the following academic year and are contingent upon maintaining the required academic performance.​
