President Bola Tinubu underscored Nigeria’s commitment to combatting terrorism, cybercrimes, and related criminal activities during a meeting with FBI Director Christopher Asher Wray at the State House in Abuja. In his remarks, Tinubu expressed gratitude for the FBI’s partnership and emphasized the Nigerian government’s efforts to enhance law enforcement capabilities. He stressed that education plays a pivotal role in poverty alleviation, a key strategy in tackling crime.

Director Wray commended the existing partnership between Nigeria and the United States, pledging to strengthen cooperation in law enforcement. He acknowledged Nigeria’s advancements and underscored the FBI’s commitment to supporting Nigeria with technology and expertise in combating complex crimes.
The meeting reaffirmed both countries’ commitment to eliminating crime through strategic partnerships and mutual cooperation.
