On March 8, President Bola Tinubu inaugurated the GB Foods Tomato Processing Company in Ngaski, Kebbi State. Represented by Abubakar Kyari, the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Tinubu praised the company’s substantial investment in Nigeria. He emphasized his administration’s dedication to creating a favorable environment for private investors in the agricultural sector, aligning with his eight-point agenda.

Abubakar Kyari, in his remarks, declared the GB tomato factory as the “largest in Africa” and urged investors to focus on Nigeria, expressing confidence in the country under President Tinubu’s leadership. Kyari highlighted his recent visits to Kebbi State, where he first toured the largest rice mill in West Africa and now the largest tomato factory on the continent.

Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, called on foreign investors to follow GB Foods’ example of long-term commitment to investing in Nigeria.
