
The Governor of Kebbi State, Nasir Idris, has suspended a top government official, Nasiru Abubakar Kigo, following controversial comments he made about the LGBT population in Northern Nigeria. Kigo, a Permanent Secretary and Islamic cleric, made the claims during a Ramadan seminar at the Adamu Aliero Housing Estate in Birnin Kebbi.
