Troops Capture Notorious Terrorist Kingpin, Rescue Kidnap Victims in Plateau

In a significant victory against terrorism, Nigerian troops have apprehended a notorious terrorist kingpin, Husseini Usman, in Ganawuri village, located in Riyom Local Government Area (LGA) of Plateau State. Furthermore, Usman revealed his involvement in a local kidnapping syndicate, admitting responsibility for abducting two individuals in the area. Kaduna State also witnessed a major breakthrough, as soldiers stormed a terrorist hideout in Gobarawa Forest, Birnin Gwari area. The terrorists, overwhelmed by the military’s presence, fled the scene, leaving behind critical weapons, including an AK-47 rifle, 16 rounds of 7.62mm (Special) ammunition, and five motorcycles. These seizures significantly weaken the terrorists’ logistical capabilities and contribute to long-term security efforts in the region.
