In a promising development, Yunusa Jibrin, a UK-based Nigerian researcher and Master’s degree graduate in computer science, has pioneered the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to identify bandits and their hideouts in Nigeria. Jibrin’s innovative methodology involves AI-driven image synthesis, generating thousands of visual representations depicting bandits in desert environments, complete with weapons and vehicles.
