A National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, Tayachibiyacha Ebal, has tragically passed away after collapsing at the Dakin Gari orientation camp in Kebbi State.
The corps member reportedly slumped unexpectedly and was rushed to the camp clinic for medical attention. When her condition worsened, she was transferred to the Federal Medical Centre in Birnin Kebbi, where all efforts to revive her proved futile.

Confirming the incident, Kebbi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Alhaji Muhammad Fingila, described the event as deeply unfortunate. He conveyed the state government’s condolences to the grieving family and disclosed that Ebal’s remains had been sent to her home state, Adamawa, for burial.
Efforts to obtain comments from the NYSC Kebbi State office were unsuccessful, as their spokesperson, Mrs. Hadiza, did not respond to calls or text messages.
