In a surprising move, His Excellency, Hon. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, the Executive Governor of Zamfara State, has announced the dissolution of the State Executive Council and relieved all political appointees of their duties. Chairmen of the affected Boards and Commissions are instructed to hand over to their secretaries, while Sole Administrators of the 14 Local Government Councils are expected to transfer authority to their respective Directors of Administration.
