The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), under the esteemed guidance of the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy, is excited to announce the commencement of applications for this year’s inspiring Bootcamp for Kids program. Geared towards nurturing young talents, parents are encouraged to apply for their children to participate in this enriching experience.
Conducted by NITDA’s subsidiary, the National Center for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (NCAIR), in partnership with tech hubs and state governments nationwide, this program is in perfect harmony with the National Digital Economy Policy and Strategy (NDEPS) set forth by the Federal Government. It also aligns with NITDA’s Strategic Roadmap and Action Plan (SRAP 2021-2024), focusing on the critical pillar of Emerging Technologies.
During this ten-day immersive training period, kids aged 8 to 11 will embark on an educational journey delving into diverse technological realms such as Artificial Intelligence, Coding, Robotics, Drone Technologies, Embedded Systems, IoT, 3D Printing, and Digital Communication. The program promises hands-on learning experiences that will undoubtedly ignite young minds.

- Venues: Simultaneously held in Abuja, Port Harcourt, and Jigawa
- Abuja Location: e-Government Training Centre at the Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN), Kubwa, Abuja.
- North Location: Futuremap Foundation Hadejia CBT and Skills Acquisition Centre, Jigawa state.
- South Location: Centre for Information and Telecommunication Engineering, University of Port Harcourt.
