The Administrative Manager will play a pivotal role in SFH’s success, providing technical expertise and leadership support to the administrative team. The core responsibilities of this position encompass a range of critical functions:
- Policy Leadership: The successful candidate will lead the provision and interpretation of essential policies such as asset management, fleet policy, and other administrative guidelines. These policies will underpin SFH’s commitment to efficiency, effectiveness, and excellence.
- Systems Management: The Administrative Manager will oversee and manage administration functions to ensure seamless operations, maximizing systems effectiveness, and value for money. This role will extend to regional offices, where building systems and capacities will be essential for efficient administrative functions.
- Asset Management: The candidate will develop and implement an asset management policy, meticulously maintaining the accuracy of the asset register across headquarters and field offices. This task ensures SFH’s valuable resources are optimally managed.
- Strategic Planning: An integral part of the role involves planning and executing cost-effective strategies for travel, meetings, and conferences. This is a critical aspect of SFH’s efforts to ensure that every resource is used judiciously.
- Logistics Expertise: The Administrative Manager will develop, oversee, and supervise systems for hotel, travel, protocol, meeting, and conference management. These activities are fundamental to the smooth operation of the organization.
- Office Efficiency: The candidate will design a system for managing office supplies and consumables, streamlining the process for optimal efficiency.
- Fleet Management: A key responsibility will be to create and implement an effective fleet management system. Overseeing and supervising fleet management activities will ensure SFH’s mobility needs are met.
To qualify for this impactful role, candidates must possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree/HND in business administration, management, or a related field. A Master’s degree and professional qualification will be advantageous.
- At least 8 years of experience in administration or related fields, with a familiarity in areas such as management, financial reporting, budget planning, and enforcement.
- Proficiency in essential skills including asset management, travel and logistics management, inventory management, fleet management, safety and security, and MS packages usage.
- Strong analytical and creative skills, integrity, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
