On Monday, April 3, 2023, the Governor of Kebbi State, H.E Sen. Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, met with Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) and Chairman of the Presidential Transition Council (PTC), and Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HCSF) in Abuja, Nigeria. The meeting was held as part of the ongoing preparations for the transition of power to the newly elected president.

Governor Bagudu serves as the representative of the President-elect in the PTC, which is responsible for overseeing the smooth transition of power from the current administration to the incoming one.
