Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has issued a stern warning against individuals aiding bandits, vowing to sign death warrants for informants caught providing assistance to criminals. The Governor’s declaration came during a visit to Tudun Bichi in Wasagu Chiefdom of Danko-Wasagu Local Government Area, where he expressed outrage at the recurring attacks orchestrated by bandits.
In a statement condemning the actions of informants colluding with criminals, Governor Idris emphasized the severity of the betrayal and its dire consequences. “The activities of informants defy all norms and religious doctrines,” he remarked, highlighting the moral depravity of those willing to betray their own communities for personal gain.

Additionally, he responded to community concerns by committing to the immediate rehabilitation of a three-kilometer road linking Tudun Bichi with Wasagu, which had become impassable due to a bridge collapse.
