The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the registration for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will close on March 8, 2025, with no plans for an extension.
JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, confirmed this in a statement on Tuesday, emphasizing that all prospective candidates must complete their registration before the deadline. He also revealed that over 1.5 million candidates have already registered for the exam.
“This deadline has been clearly stated in all our advertisements and official schedules. There will be no extension, so candidates should register as soon as possible,” JAMB stated.
The board warned that last-minute registration could lead to difficulties and stressed that its examination calendar is fixed, as it aligns with other academic activities such as result processing and university admissions.
JAMB urged all remaining candidates to take advantage of the remaining time to complete their registration, ensuring they do not miss the opportunity to participate in the 2025 UTME.
