BREAKING: Kebbi State Publishes Official List of 19,000 Teacher Applicants

The Kebbi State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has formally announced that last year’s teachers’ recruitment exercise recorded a total of over 19,000 applicants.

In an official statement, the Ministry clarified that this figure represents the verified number of qualified individuals who submitted applications during the process. The clarification became necessary to address misinformation and unfounded speculations circulating in the public domain.

“This is the official figure, and we find it necessary to set the record straight,” the Ministry stated, while stressing that the recruitment exercise was conducted with a strong commitment to transparency, fairness, and merit in the selection of teachers across the state.

The Ministry further addressed public concerns regarding images of applicants’ names currently circulating online. It confirmed that these images are authentic representations of the official applicant lists, which have been released in batches on the Ministry’s official Facebook page.
