The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the results for the 2025 May/June West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). Candidates across Nigeria can now check their results online via the WAEC result portal at www.waecdirect.org.
According to WAEC, the 2025 results show a slight improvement in overall performance compared to previous years, with a higher percentage of candidates securing credit passes in five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.

How to Check WAEC 2025 Results:
- Visit www.waecdirect.org.
- Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number.
- Select your Examination Year (2025).
- Select your Examination Type (School Candidate Result).
- Enter the Serial Number on your WAEC Scratch Card.
- Enter the PIN on your Scratch Card.
- Click “Submit” to view your results.
Complaint Submission for WAEC Candidates:
WAEC has also provided a support channel for candidates who wish to lodge complaints regarding missing results, incorrect details, or technical issues encountered during result checking.
How to Submit a Complaint:
- Visit the WAEC support page at https://waec.org and click on the “Contact Us” section.
- Alternatively, send an email to: customersupport@waec.org.ng.
- Provide your full name, examination number, exam year, and a clear description of your issue.
- You can also call the WAEC Nigeria helpdesk: +234-1-9049320 or +234-818-204-4081.
Candidates are advised to act promptly and ensure that any issues are reported before the deadline announced by WAEC.
