Former President Muhammadu Buhari conveyed his birthday greetings to Tinubu, praising him for his sustained efforts in tackling the numerous challenges facing Nigeria. Buhari’s message was delivered through his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, in a statement titled ‘Former President Buhari greets Tinubu on his 72nd birthday.’
Tinubu had requested a low-key celebration for his birthday, citing the recent killings of army officers and policemen in Delta State and the prevailing insecurity across the nation.
