CCT/RRR Batch A Direct Payment Begins Today – How to Update Your Bank Details to Receive ₦25,000

The much-anticipated Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) and Rapid Response Register (RRR) Batch A payment under the Renewed Hope programme has officially commenced today, June 14, 2025. Beneficiaries across the country are receiving direct bank transfers of ₦25,000, marking a shift from the previous ATM card alert system.

The National Social Safety Nets Coordinating Office (NASSCO), in collaboration with the Federal Government, has adopted a more efficient method of direct payment to individual bank accounts, following challenges encountered with the previous disbursement process.

Batch A Payment Underway

This phase targets 2.5 million beneficiaries in Batch A across Nigeria. The disbursement is part of the Renewed Hope initiative aimed at providing financial support to vulnerable Nigerians and boosting household income nationwide.

To ensure smooth and successful delivery, beneficiaries must have updated bank account details linked to their CCT or RRR records.

How to Update CCT/RRR Bank Details

If you are among the selected beneficiaries but have not received payment yet, you may need to update your bank information. Here’s how:

1. Visit a Local Gathering Point:
   Head to a nearby location commonly used for public programs or voting activities. These locations are often used by enumerators during the data update exercises.
2. Make Inquiries on Enumerator Activities:
   Ask if any NASSCO enumerator has recently visited or contacted someone in your area regarding cash transfer updates. If someone was contacted, get the enumerator’s phone number.
3. Contact the Enumerator:
   Call the enumerator and request an appointment to update your bank information. This process is handled directly by the official assigned to your community.
4. Do Not Pay for the Update:
   The bank detail update is completely free. Do not give money to anyone for this process.
