A recent development from the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has led to mixed reactions among applicants, as the exam portal has begun updating the CBT dates for some candidates ahead of the 2025 recruitment test.
Several applicants who were initially given 18 November 2025 as their examination date have noticed that their exam schedule has been shifted to 17 November 2025 upon rechecking their portal dashboard. Although no public statement has been released by CDCFIB to explain the adjustment, the update appears genuine and has been verified directly through the official exam portal.
According to reports from affected candidates, their first exam slip clearly showed 18 November, but after re-logging into the portal, the revised time now appears as 17 November 2025, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM. This change is not uniform for all applicants but seems to apply only to specific individuals based on internal scheduling.

Because this modification is coming quietly through the portal without formal notice, all applicants are strongly encouraged to log in again and confirm their exact exam date and time. Relying solely on previously downloaded exam slips may lead to confusion or even missing the examination.
Candidates are also advised to avoid clicking the Login button unless the date and time displayed on their screen match their corrected schedule. Ensuring accuracy is important because the portal is now the most reliable source of the updated timetable.
With the exam day approaching, applicants must take a moment to re-verify their details and stay updated to avoid any last-minute issues. Checking the portal regularly will help ensure that candidates appear at the right venue, on the right date, and at the correct time.
