CDCFIB Releases New Date for Physical Screening and Approved Verification Centres

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially released a new date and the complete list of approved centres for the 2025 physical screening and verification exercise. For many applicants, this announcement brings clarity after weeks of waiting following the November CBT examinations. Having followed CDCFIB recruitment cycles for years, one thing has remained true: once the board confirms screening dates and centres, the process moves quickly.

This year, the board has designated 44 physical verification centres across the 36 states and the FCT. These centres will host candidates shortlisted under the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

According to the schedule released, physical screening and document verification will run from Monday 8th to Friday 12th December 2025. If you’ve participated in previous screenings, you’ll know that arriving early, carrying every required document, and heading to the correct state command makes a big difference in how smoothly your verification goes.
