CDCFIB Announces Portal Closing Date and Online Exam Schedule for Shortlisted Applicants

CDCFIB recruitment update 2025 portal closing date and online exam schedule

The Civil Defence, Corrections, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has issued an important update for all shortlisted candidates participating in its ongoing recruitment exercise. According to the latest announcement from the Office of the Secretary, the recruitment portal will officially close on Friday, November 7, 2025.

All shortlisted applicants are urged to log in to the official recruitment portal via recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng to confirm their application status and follow the latest directives regarding the online examination process.

Online CBT Test to Begin November 12

The CDCFIB further disclosed that the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for shortlisted candidates will now be held exclusively online. The test is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, and conclude on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.
This means that all previously designated physical CBT centers have been discontinued — candidates will now sit for the exam remotely using their own devices.

Selection of Online Exam Date and Time

Candidates who had earlier selected a physical test center are required to revisit the CDCFIB portal to choose their online CBT test date and time. The Board confirmed that the link for online test selection will be made available on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

Important Instructions for Applicants

Applicants are strongly advised to:

  • Ensure a stable internet connection during the online test.
  • Use compatible devices such as laptops, tablets, or smartphones.
  • Follow all exam guidelines and instructions displayed on their examination slip to avoid disqualification.

The CDCFIB emphasized its commitment to maintaining a fair, transparent, and efficient recruitment process, assuring all participants that the online testing system is designed to ensure equal opportunity for every applicant.

Portal Closing Reminder

The Board reiterated that the recruitment portal will close by Friday, November 7, 2025, after which no further updates or profile modifications will be accepted. Candidates who fail to confirm their status or print their examination slip before the deadline may risk disqualification.

For accurate and verified information, candidates should always visit the official websitewww.cdcfib.gov.ng — and follow CDCFIB’s verified social media handles on X (Twitter), Facebook, and Instagram.
