CDCFIB Slip Not Showing Exam Number or CBT Date — What to Do

Many candidates taking part in the ongoing CDCFIB recruitment exercise have raised fresh concerns after discovering that their printed CBT exam slips do not display an exam number, exam date, or exam time. The issue has triggered widespread complaints across social platforms, with affected applicants unsure of how to proceed as the exam period continues.

Several candidates said they only noticed the missing details after downloading their slips—long after the reprint portal had closed. The situation follows earlier technical glitches on the shortlist portal that made it difficult for some applicants to access or download their slips. There were also reports of repeated registration numbers appearing on different slips, causing further confusion for those attempting to verify their correct exam schedule.

Many candidates now believe that the missing exam details are linked to a technical fault from the CDCFIB portal, with no immediate fix available.

Solutions to the Problem

Based on recent explanations from candidates who already wrote the CBT, those who cannot find their exam number, date, or time on their slip are advised to check their original registration document, as the exam number remains consistent and is usually the Application ID or Reference Number.

Unfortunately, reprinting the updated CDCFIB slip is no longer possible, as the shortlist portal has been officially closed. This means no edits, corrections, or new downloads can be made.

However, applicants who still remember the exact exam date and time they selected during the initial registration process may proceed to write the test when the portal opens for their chosen session.

Candidates Still Await Official Clarification

Despite the rising concerns, the CDCFIB recruitment team has not issued any official statement regarding missing exam numbers, duplicated registration details, or the printing errors affecting many applicants. As a result, candidates continue to wait for an official update or further instructions on how the issue will be resolved.
