The Dangote Refinery has once again reviewed fuel pump prices across Nigeria, announcing a reduction that brings some relief to consumers. As of today, 24th September 2025, motorists in selected states will now purchase fuel at new adjusted rates.
In states such as Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Ondo, Osun, and Ekiti, the new pump price has been set at N841 per litre. This marks a significant adjustment and is expected to ease transportation costs and other related expenses in the region.
Other parts of the country will see fuel prices at N851 per litre, including Abuja, Delta, Rivers, Edo, and Kwara. While the difference may appear marginal, it is seen as part of the refinery’s ongoing strategy to make fuel accessible at fair and more competitive rates.
The latest reduction is powered by the refinery’s logistics-free delivery scheme, which cuts down transportation overheads and enables direct supply to designated locations. Analysts believe this move could help stabilize fuel pricing in the country, reducing pressure on households and businesses that have struggled with rising costs in recent months.
