
Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has called on citizens to embrace peace, unity, and progress as they celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, marking the conclusion of the Ramadan fast.
In a message released from Birnin Kebbi through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Malam Yahaya Sarki, the governor emphasized the importance of maintaining the values learned during Ramadan, including perseverance, faith, and devotion to God.
He encouraged the people of Kebbi and Nigerians at large to remain hopeful and committed to overcoming the nation’s challenges through collective effort and prayers.
“We must continue to pray for solutions to our country’s difficulties, as they are not insurmountable. Our unity and dedication to progress will help build a prosperous and peaceful nation,” Idris stated.

Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to the welfare of the people, the governor promised to sustain initiatives aimed at improving their livelihoods. He assured residents of continued free distribution of essential food items, as well as agricultural inputs such as fertilizers to support farmers.
“As leaders work towards credible solutions for national development, it is crucial for everyone to seek divine guidance for our leaders, that they may find wisdom and the strength to implement policies that will ensure Nigeria’s progress,” he added.
Governor Idris extended his best wishes to the Muslim faithful, urging them to uphold the spirit of kindness, generosity, and community service beyond the Ramadan season.
