Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu CON, has recently apologized to the people of Kebbi for any shortcomings that may have occurred during his eight years of governance. In an interview with journalists at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi after the Eid prayer, Governor Bagudu expressed his gratitude to the people of Kebbi for their unwavering support that led to the success of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
Governor Bagudu acknowledged that being human, mistakes were inevitable in the course of governance. He described his successor, Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu, as a humble and compassionate leader who would take Kebbi State to new heights.
The Governor-elect, Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu, also expressed his appreciation to God and the people of Kebbi for the peaceful observation of Ramadan and the joyous celebration of Eid-el-Fitr. He thanked Governor Bagudu and the Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami SAN, for their support and cooperation that contributed to the success of APC in the state.
