Elderly Australian Converts to Islam after Complaining about ‘Loud Noises’ in Mosque

A heartwarming incident occurred at a mosque in Gold Coast, Australia, where an elderly man went to complain about the ‘loud noises’ during Eid prayers. However, the man left the mosque as a Muslim after conversing with the Muslims present. The incident was captured on camera and has since gone viral on social media.

The man, Brian, who lives in a nursing home near the mosque, went to speak to the mosque’s imam, Hassan, about the loud sound of the prayers that were broadcasted through speakers. Hassan sat with Brian and spoke to him for 10 to 15 minutes, during which he explained the religion and its practices. Brian was convinced of the faith and made a voluntary decision to convert to Islam.

The footage shows Brian declaring his new faith in English and Arabic before breaking down in tears. The video was shared on social media by Haj Hussain Goss, an active Muslim preacher in Australia, who welcomed Brian to Islam on the day of Eid.
