Federal Teachers UBEC Open Portal for 2025/2026 Recruitment: Apply Now

The Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) has officially opened the application portal for the Federal Teachers Recruitment 2025/2026, fulfilling its promise to provide opportunities for qualified Nigerians to serve as teachers at the federal level.

UBEC, responsible for coordinating the Universal Basic Education (UBE) program in Nigeria, aims to ensure every child in the country receives free, compulsory, and quality education. To fulfill this goal, UBEC is recruiting teachers for various subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, and Technical Education.

Requirements for Federal Teachers Recruitment 2025

  1. Educational Qualifications:
    • Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed)
    • Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)
  2. Age Limit: Applicants should not be older than 35 years of age.
  1. Employment Status: Only unemployed individuals are eligible to apply.
  2. Teaching Specializations: Applicants must be qualified to teach subjects such as English, Mathematics, Sciences, Agricultural Science, Home Economics, and Technical Education.
  3. Additional Requirements:
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field from an accredited institution
    • Completion of the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)
    • Nigerian citizenship with a valid ID
    • Strong communication skills in English
    • Computer literacy is a plus
