
The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Federal Ministry of Youth Development (FMYD) in collaboration with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), has officially announced the launch of the Youth Data Protection Awareness and Training Program. The initiative is aimed at equipping young Nigerians with essential knowledge and skills in data protection, digital privacy, and cybersecurity.
The official launch event is scheduled to take place on 25th July 2025 at the Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja. This youth-focused program is designed to empower participants with the necessary tools to understand data protection laws and best practices in today’s digital world.
