Complete Registration Steps for FME TVET 2025
1. Visit the Official Portal
Go directly to the application website:
https://tvet.education.gov.ng
Use a strong internet connection for a smooth experience.
2. Start Application
Click on the “Apply” button to begin your registration.
3. Enter Your NIN and Date of Birth
Input your National Identification Number (NIN) and make sure the date of birth matches exactly with your NIN record. A mismatch will prevent successful validation.
4. Provide Contact Details
Enter your phone number and email address, then click proceed. An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your phone.
Update: OTP issues that affected applicants earlier have been resolved. If you tried previously and failed to receive one, you can now try again.
5. Submit OTP and Create Password
Once you receive the OTP, enter it on the portal and create a secure password for your account.
6. Update Your Personal Information
Log into your account using your details. Update your home address, state, and local government area, then proceed.
7. Enter Your Bank Details
Provide your Bank Verification Number (BVN), account number, and select your bank name. Click to continue.
Important Notice:
If your BVN fails to validate, it means your BVN and NIN records do not match. To resolve this:
- Ensure that at least two of your names are identical on both NIN and BVN.
- Ensure that your date of birth is exactly the same across both records.
- Visit a NIMC center to correct any mismatch before reapplying.
8. Choose a Skills Programme
Select one of the two available training options:
- Master 6 (STC) — 6-month intensive skill training
- Master 12 (VEI) — 12-month vocational and entrepreneurship programme
Make your selection based on your interests and availability.
9. Final Review and Submit
Before final submission, review all your entries carefully. Ensure every detail is correct. Once confirmed, click “Submit Application.”

- Use a functional phone number and email address.
- The application is completely free.
