What to Do If Your FME TVET Application Status Shows “Pending”

FME TVET application pending status guide 2025
Pending status on FME TVET portal explained with step-by-step application guide

If your FME TVET application is showing “Pending”, don’t worry — you’re not alone, and it doesn’t mean your application was unsuccessful. According to the latest updates from the Ministry of Education, the “Pending” status means your application was successfully submitted and is awaiting verification and approval, which is scheduled to begin in August 2025.

All applicants currently have their status set to pending as part of the application review process. There’s no need to reapply if you’ve already submitted your form correctly and your dashboard shows this status. It means you’re in the system and your application will be assessed.

However, it’s important to double-check your application details, especially the following:

  • Ensure your NIN and BVN details are accurate and that your name matches across both.
  • Your date of birth must align with what’s registered on your NIN.
  • Avoid multiple registrations or incorrect entries.

Applicants with name mismatches, invalid NIN details, or incomplete forms may not be shortlisted. So make sure your submission is clean and correct.

Also, the application is still open. Interested Nigerians who haven’t applied yet can still take part in this opportunity.
