Ghana Fail to Qualify for AFCON 2025 After Draw with Angola

Ghana’s bid to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco ended in disappointment following a 1-1 draw against Angola on Friday. The Black Stars, who needed a win to secure their place, took an early lead through a stunning free kick by Jordan Ayew in the 18th minute.

Angola secured their spot, while Sudan remains in a favorable position to qualify with a point in their final match. Niger also retains an outside chance if they beat Ghana and Sudan loses.
