Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has expressed his pride and commendation for students across public and private schools in the state who achieved remarkable results in the recently concluded Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Particularly noteworthy is the exceptional performance of Master Samuel Oluwasemilore from Government Secondary School, Omu Aran, who obtained an outstanding score of 358 in the examination.
In a statement released by his chief press secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, Governor AbdulRazaq extended his congratulations to 30 students from Kwara-based Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Model College, who attained scores ranging from 300 to 355 in the UTME, alongside other high-performing students from various schools in the state. He emphasized the significance of such achievements, citing them as exemplary models for younger students to emulate, urging them to strive for excellence in their academic endeavors and bring pride to their families and communities.

Governor AbdulRazaq highlighted that these accomplishments underscore the state’s commitment to educational excellence and its positive impact on the global stage. Assuring the people of Kwara State of ongoing efforts to elevate educational standards, Governor AbdulRazaq referenced the success of the KwaraLEARN program and the recent approval for its statewide coverage. Furthermore, he announced plans for the launch of the Kwara State Education Trust Fund, aimed at providing additional resources and enhancing accountability within the education sector.
