
In a move to ease the financial strain on civil servants during the Eid-l-Kabir celebrations, Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State has sanctioned a N45,000 support package for each employee within the State Unified Local Government Service and Local Education Authorities.

The announcement was made by Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, who highlighted the two-fold nature of the financial assistance. It includes a N30,000 loan/advance to be repaid in three monthly installments of N10,000 each over July, August, and September, alongside a N15,000 Sallah gift.
This initiative aims to ensure that state employees can fully participate in the festive celebrations without financial worries.
Malam Falalu Bawale, the Katsina State Head of Service, commended the Governor’s initiative, noting that this financial relief will significantly aid numerous households in celebrating Eid with joy and ease.
