Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State has initiated the construction of a new flyover at the West-end Roundabout in Maiduguri, the capital city. This marks the third flyover project undertaken by the Zulum administration, following the previous construction at the Customs Roundabout in 2020, which was commissioned by former President Muhammadu Buhari, and another completed this year, awaiting commissioning.
Accompanied by Senator Kaka Shehu Lawan representing Borno Central and the Secretary to the State Government, Bukar Tijjani, Governor Zulum performed the flag-off ceremony on Saturday. The project, scheduled to be completed within a year, is part of Governor Zulum’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure in major cities of Borno State, as pledged during his election campaign.
